Elpac Introduces 63 Watt Open Frame Medical Power Supplies
Three New Models in Compact 2" x 4" Form Factor
IRVINE, CA – November 21, 2005 – Elpac Electronics, Inc., a worldwide leader in accelerating the design and manufacture of superior-quality power supplies, custom docking stations and battery chargers, today announced the release of a new series of 63 watt open frame power supplies for medical applications. The new models come in a compact 2” x 4” footprint, ideal for use in a wide variety of mobile or portable medical applications, and are backed by the industry-leading Elpac 5-year warranty.
The new MSM63 series includes three new models, each providing 63 watts of DC power at single outputs of 12, 15, or 24 volts. Each model takes AC input from universal sources and provides fully regulated DC output. All medical agency and regulatory approvals have been completed, including UL2601-1, CE marking to EN60601-1-2, and FCC Class B.
